“ Hidden gem on the edges of Echo Park and Chinatown! They definitely have delicious bites worth their price! My favorites so far are the double baked croissant and the cinny twist. Looking forward to try all their creative sweet and savory baked options. ”
“ I made it there 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday. Their service was great and the pastries are delicious. The garden area outside is so serene and unexpected. Looking towards it from the street youd never know it has this cute little area. ”
“ Bakers Bench is the only reason I will go to LA!!!! Everything is PERFECT and definitely worth every minute spent in traffic. 100000010 recommend. Favorites are maple pear danish, twice baked croissant, tomato onion danish and black sesame cookie ”
“ First of all, Im not vegan, however you dont have to be to enjoy these TREATS. In a blind taste test I would not be able to tell the difference. Bakers Bench has perfected these recipes and the hard work pays off. Super cute spot with a beautiful backyard right next door to Heavy Wateralso phenomenal cant wait to walk here everyday and get myself a sweet little treat. The chocolate croissant had to be my favorite but the sesame cookie was insane, the cinna knot thing was so gooey inside again its hard to believe there not butter and milk in these bad boys. Apricot danish was also heavenly and apricot is not even my favorite!!! Cant wait to try literally everything 1210 stars if I could ”
“ My daughter absolutely loves Baker Bench. Its a wonderful bakery especially for people who have certain dietary restrictions as the pastries are vegan. Everything that we had was delicious. The croissants were unfortunately sold out by the time we got there. I especially liked the butterscotch candy. It reminded me of a soft coconut candy with a salty taste. There was plenty of seating outside and some inside. ”
“ what a cute lil spot. pastries were awesome. folks were kind. definitely worth stopping by! the egg roll croissant was excellent. ”
“ Excuse me, which ones are vegan? Oh, theyre all vegan I wanted to cry ! Her name was Moss I hope I spelled her name right, she was so lovely and let me know more about their kitchenbakery and all their amazing pastries. I didnt know which ones to get, luckily I brought my little family so we can try many. They were so delicious, so amazingly good. My son loved his croissant and hes very picky, they have to be flaky and crispy and not dense. Im so glad daughter wanted to brownie, its so yummy and huge so you can easily split it and have 24 pieces. The bakery spot theyre at is small but charming, we ate our treats outside and loved the whole experience. Next time we visit LA we are definitely coming here for croissants, pastries and coffee!! again!! ”
“ This bakery is serving some of the best pastries in LA especially their croissants! I believe everything is vegan but when you try them, they taste like their nonvegan counterparts. I love that they have seasonal savory pastries in their case! They have a nice patio area that is shared between the few restaurantscafes as well so you can relax. ”
